Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

At Mercurial Dance, equality, diversity and inclusion are fundamental to how we work, collaborate and create.

As a UK-based dance and creative technology company, we are committed to providing an inclusive working environment, promoting equal opportunities and ensuring that everyone involved in our work is treated with dignity and respect.

Our approach is underpinned by a comprehensive framework of employment and equality policies, professionally drafted by UK employment solicitors. These policies include equal opportunities, fair recruitment, flexible working, family responsibilities, menopause, wellbeing, professional development, harassment prevention and grievance procedures, alongside all other policy and governance frameworks.

We are building on this established framework through the formal adoption of a Gender Equality Plan (2026–2028), aligned with the European Commission's Gender Equality Plan framework. This will consolidate our existing commitments and establish proportionate arrangements for accountability, monitoring, training and continuous improvement.

Our commitment extends to our creative practice, where we seek to embed inclusion and diverse perspectives in the research, co-design and development of our work.

Our Gender Equality Plan and selected organisational policies will be published here following formal approval.
