Mercurial Dance are seeking dancers and actors for their new project ‘Fame Game’

Paid: Fee – £ industry rates per day (no relocation costs available as part of this project)

Description AUDITION FOR ‘FAME GAME’.

The project will take place in Birmingham in 2021 during w/c 14 June.

We are looking for performers for all of the following roles.
Character List:

Sophie Jackson 20-30
She is confident, easy-going, smart and playful.
Strong acting skills required. Street/hip-hop dancing skills desirable.
Performer from the African Diaspora desired.

Natascha Williams 20-30
She is provocative and slightly rebellious, with a very wealthy family background
Ballet skills with some contemporary experience. Some acting experience.

Adeen Callahan 20-25
He is sensitive and wears his heart on his sleeve.
contemporary/classical dance skills with some acting experience.
Performer from the South, East, and South East Asian diaspora or the Middle East desired.

Sonya Khan 20-30
Shy and modest.
Kathak dancer required, ideally with some acting experience.
South Asian performer desired.

Luca Caldari 45-60
Stylish, gentlemanly, confident with an Italian background. A talk host in waiting. Ballroom dance skills desirable.
Strong acting skills required.

Adrian Mahler – aka ‘Rothko’ 25-35
Self-motivated, ambitious and very successful in navigating the world of social media.
Hiphop dancer with acting experience desired.

Blandine Yolanda ‘Yolo’ 30-40
Thoughtful, disciplined & speaks carefully.
Acting skills required. Some ballet experience desireable.
Performer from the African Diaspora desired.

Annie Cheong 30-40
A mid-level TV production assistant. Disorganised, stressed, always dashing about and slightly distracted.
Actor from the East, and South East Asian diaspora required.

Ronnie Howes 35-45
Natascha’s driver & school friend of Yolo. Gentle and warm, but often misunderstood given his physical appearance.
Actor required.
