The Bubble Chamber is Mercurial Dance’s pioneering three year programme of dance and technology working with young people aged 14-19. A cutting edge project taking place in ‘void’ shop spaces throughout the West Midlands, The Bubble Chamber aims to animate city centres through dance and young people’s contribution.

In the Bubble Chamber we are exploring the artistic dialogue between technological spaces, visual imagery, live performance and non-conventional performance spaces. Over time, more and more young people will be engaged on new ‘installations’, each building on the previous one and culminating in major event to celebrate all that will be achieved throughout the project.
