We are recruiting Visual Artists for our in-depth participatory arts project called Every Child Is An Artist
We are looking for freelance artists with disciplines such as drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, design, crafts, textiles, etc.
Every Child Is An Artist is a nationally ground breaking programme to develop the artistic skills abilities of all the children in our partner primary schools, across the different art disciplines. We are developing an arts curriculum in our primary schools delivered by practicing artists, working at the forefront of arts educational practice. Each term we work towards an exhibition or event that connects with the friends and families of the children. In the spring term we are working with visual arts and we encourage applications from regional artists and BMAE artists.
We are looking for one artist with differing practices who can deliver regular sessions with the children, keeping a continuity and progression to skills and development throughout a term. . You will be working with Year 1 & 2 and the work will take place on Wednesdays during the spring term.
